Odds and Ends

When you live in a small apartment and shoot tintypes it really takes up quite a bit of your livable space. Below are some photos of where everything is stored and some of my early attempts.

Some tintypes on my drying rack waiting to be scanned before varnishing.

Storage for extra plates and unopened chemicals.

Test shot when setting up for the first paper moon shoot.

Closet full of chemicals and lights.

Very early shot looking outside. I did not have lights at this point and was just learning how to mix the chemicals. I did like the lens flare.

My darkroom. A semi permanent feature in the corner of my living room.

Another early test before I had strobe lights.

One last early test. I think this was something like five minutes exposure time.
